Marks & Spencer

Publications Planner (4 years)

  • Responsible for the project management of publications from brief to delivery in store and mailings. Working across different disciplines and departments and driving the project forward through, briefing/photography/ design/ retouch/proofing and sign off.
  • Managing budgets to deliver the maximum impact as part of the marketing mix. Pushing all elements of the publication to get the very best from the budget given.
  • Working across agencies to deliver consistent customer messages and communications e.g. M&S Live and shop your way campaigns, which runs across all publications and in store.
  • Working with the international team to provide publication guidelines to allow syndication of assets to promote offers and campaigns through several territories.
  • Leading and implementing process reviews and Post Implementation Reviews, to consistently improve ways of working for all parties.

Product Marketeer - Kidswear (3 years)

  • Responsible for delivering the point of sale for all subdivisions of the Kidswear department (10 in total).
  • Project management of 5 Kidswear brochures to raise the profile of the Kidswear department. Leading of the delivery of the Back To School (BTS) brochure as part of the BTS campaign – from product selection, photoshoot management, shot selection, working with the design team to produce concept sheets, final artwork and print production.
  • Lead regular visits to stores to ensure campaign delivery, managing feedback from store and Head office then reviewing PIR’s to implement improvements in communications and campaign engagement.
  • Launched the Living the Dream range into stores and online with full graphic and photographic decor package, store engagement, events and store competitions.
  • End to end delivery of several customer competitions, involving leading kids brands, legal consultation, magazine elements, and online presence.

Product Marketeer - Womenswear (1 year)

  • Delivering point of sale in store to support these departments, working with the buyers to agree product nominations for photoshoots, promotions and graphic messages across the store. Working closely with the retail team, on communications specifically to engage store colleagues for launches.
  • Managing tight deadlines to deliver point of sale on time. Briefing the design studio and managing the point of sale through to store with external agencies.
  • Working with the events team to implement a launch to support bridal Autograph Occasions. Briefing and managing the bridal magalette for use in store with the publications team. Communicating the bridal launch to stores, through documentation on the homepage and presenting at the store engagement day.
  • Driving new marketing initiatives through the business. These included a loyalty mail out on Limited – ‘get the look’ and improved internet content across all brands.
